Since its initial release, Longchamp’s Le Pliage bag has become something of a global fashion icon. From the expert craftsmanship to the timeless design, Le Pliage bags retain a cult classic status for good reason. With each new Le Pliage bag release, there is a level of prestige, versatility, and ingenuity that many customers have come to expect from the expert fashion house. But how can Longchamp debut a new version of this classic accessory with the same bold creativity that’s made the brand such a wild success?

To celebrate the new Le Pliage Cuir, made of supple métis leather, we created the “Cuir” film. In collaboration with renowned Studio Sander Plug and its founder of the same name, the film is a continuation of the “It is not a bag. It is Le Pliage” campaign platform, and equally as imaginative as the launch campaign. Featuring a life sized Le Pliage Cuir bag — made to scale with 3D printing — this new spot confirms, yet again, that it is not simply a bag “It is Le Pliage®️.
