A trailblazing hiv narrative centered on hope and inclusivity, redefining healthcare communication

In recognition of World AIDS Day and the 40th anniversary of HIV identification, FRED & FARID Paris has developed a campaign dedicated to enlightening the public about the advancements in HIV treatment and prevention, while vigorously combating HIV-related stigma. The agency’s approach revolutionizes the narrative around HIV, pivoting it towards themes of hope and inclusion.

‘La VIE prend le dessus sur le VIH’ (‘Life Triumphs Over HIV’) focuses on three pivotal messages: life-normalizing treatments for those living with HIV, the accessibility of testing for everyone, and the use of PrEP as a preventative measure. The campaign’s vibrant, playful art direction, inspired by the Paris Sans Sida organization’s logo, cleverly juxtaposes the French words ‘VIE’ (Life) and ‘VIH’ (HIV). This creative wordplay vividly illustrates the contrasting experiences of individuals living with HIV, capturing the essence of triumph and resilience.
