The Le Pliage bag has held its iconic status for decades due to its timeless style and luxury craftsmanship. But as the world shifts toward an eco-forward future, more shoppers are prioritizing sustainable production and visibility over blind purchasing. To appeal to these conscious consumers, Longchamp needed to capitalize on their luxury status while creating a bag that embraces this new customer desire.
Inspired by Longchamp’s ongoing sustainable production initiative, we created the film “Re-Play”. In collaboration with renowned Studio Sander Plug and its founder of the same name, the film is a cheerful celebration of the new Le Pliage Re-Play — made entirely of remaining fabric from Longchamp ateliers. The twirling affair shown in the spot is set to the same upbeat track as the original Le Pliage launch campaign, making it a bright continuation of the “It is not a bag. It is Le Pliage®️.” platform.
